WEDNESDAY AUGUST 20TH, 2014 - TEST SHOTS

There's nothing like pizza and headshots. After picking up some new gear, the other night a couple friends and I decided to get together and do some tests. Aiming for an even beauty look; the setup was two softboxes left and right of the camera (one was taller than the other, but with some slight adjustments it ended up not being an issue since the shots were so tight) a diffused speedlight above, a white foam board underneath as a reflector to fill in any shadows under the chin, and a couple of speedlights to evenly light the seamless white backdrop. Tethering into Capture One on an iMac, it was my first time using the Capture Pilot ios app, which was super convenient as everyone was able to casually pass around the iPad to view the images as they came in instead of having to huddle around the computer. It was one of the most fun and laid back shoots I've ever been a part of. I'll be posting the final edited images online soon.
